Home Education Support
Personalised guidance for families home educating neurodivergent children.
Service Description
Every neurodivergent child deserves an education that honours who they are. Whether you're considering home education for the first time, have recently deregistered your child from school, or have been home educating for a while but feel stuck, this personalised support session is designed to help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity. As a qualified teacher, SEND specialist and home educating parent, I understand that there is no single 'right' way to educate a neurodivergent child. Together, we'll explore what is likely to work best for *your* child, taking into account their strengths, interests, support needs and your family's unique circumstances. This service is suitable for families of autistic, PDA, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent children, whether they are currently in school, flexi-schooling, or already being home educated. Topics we might explore include: • Is home education the right choice for our family? • Making the transition from school to home education. • Creating a sustainable daily rhythm without recreating school at home. • Supporting learning through your child's interests. • Balancing wellbeing with literacy, numeracy and other areas of learning. • Choosing resources and curriculum (where appropriate). • Supporting siblings of different ages and needs. • Building confidence in your home education approach. Before our session, you'll complete a detailed intake form so I can gain a thorough understanding of your child and family. This allows us to spend our time together focusing on practical strategies, personalised guidance and answering the questions that matter most to you. Following our consultation, you'll receive a written summary of the key points we discussed, along with suggested next steps and any recommended resources. My aim isn't to tell you what you *should* do. It's to help you understand your child more deeply, feel confident in your decisions, and create an approach to learning that works for your whole family.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Quick Help (Written Support) Once payment is made and your intake form has been received, your personalised written plan will be created within five working days. Because this is a custom, written service that begins shortly after purchase, it’s considered a digital bespoke product under UK consumer law. Refunds: Full refunds can be offered before you submit your intake form. After your intake form is received, work on your plan begins, so refunds are no longer available. If you realise you’ve booked in error or need to pause before submitting your form, please contact me within 24 hours so we can arrange next steps. Delays or changes: If unexpected circumstances (on your side or mine) delay the process, I’ll always communicate clearly and offer a new expected delivery date. You’re welcome to email any updates or extra context before your plan is written — I’ll include them wherever possible. Starter Support (Zoom Session) Your Starter Support session is a one-to-one, pre-booked appointment. Appointments are often booked several days in advance, and I keep spaces limited to maintain quality support. Rescheduling: You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your booked time using the link in your confirmation email. If you need to change your session within 24 hours, please contact me directly — I understand that family life can be unpredictable, especially for SEND and PDA families, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible. Cancellations and Refunds: Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours before your session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may not be refundable, as the time is reserved for you. If unexpected circumstances arise (e.g. your child is in crisis, illness, or emergency), please let me know — I’ll always approach this with understanding and flexibility. Missed appointments: If you miss your session without notice, it will be treated as a completed appointment. You’re welcome to rebook a new session at a later date. Need to make a change? Life happens — especially in neurodivergent households. If you need to reschedule or pause, please just get in touch via sendinmama@gmail.com as soon as possible. I’ll always aim to respond with kindness, clarity, and flexibility.
