Starter Support
Compassionate 1:1 guidance call to help you find clarity, calm, and practical next steps.
Service Description
When you’re parenting or supporting a child with a Pathological Demand Avoidant (PDA) profile or navigating SEND-related challenges, it can be hard to know what to do next, especially when emotions, education pressures, and daily life all overlap. The Starter Support option offers you a calm, focused 1:1 conversation where we can explore what’s going on, what’s feeling most difficult, and what might help right now. You’ll come away with personalised ideas, reassurance, and clear next steps that feel achievable for your unique family. This is a 30-minute Zoom session, designed to be accessible and supportive — without any judgement or overwhelm. Whether you’re seeking strategies to reduce school-related anxiety, exploring flexi-schooling, or simply need someone who understands PDA and neurodivergent family life, this session gives you space to be heard and supported. What’s included: A 30-minute 1:1 session via Zoom — a calm, supportive conversation focused on your child and family context. Short written summary — you’ll receive a follow-up email highlighting key ideas and next steps. Tailored resources or strategy suggestions — one or two hand-picked tools to support your next stage. Appointments usually available within 10 working days. Who it’s for: The Starter Support session is ideal if you: • Want to explore your situation in more depth with professional, neurodiversity-affirming guidance. • Need help communicating with school or setting up realistic support at home. • Are looking for strategies that prioritise connection, regulation, and understanding. • Would like clarity before deciding on longer-term support or education changes. Cost: £50 Payment is taken at booking, and you’ll receive a short intake form straight away so I can prepare for your session. A small number of reduced-cost spaces are available each month for families who need them — please let me know if that would make a difference for you. “Every family’s story is different, and so is every solution. This session is about finding what works for you... with compassion, realism, and understanding.” — Natalie Froud, M.Ed. PDA & SEND Specialist Founder of SENDinMama
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Quick Help (Written Support) Once payment is made and your intake form has been received, your personalised written plan will be created within five working days. Because this is a custom, written service that begins shortly after purchase, it’s considered a digital bespoke product under UK consumer law. Refunds: Full refunds can be offered before you submit your intake form. After your intake form is received, work on your plan begins, so refunds are no longer available. If you realise you’ve booked in error or need to pause before submitting your form, please contact me within 24 hours so we can arrange next steps. Delays or changes: If unexpected circumstances (on your side or mine) delay the process, I’ll always communicate clearly and offer a new expected delivery date. You’re welcome to email any updates or extra context before your plan is written — I’ll include them wherever possible. Starter Support (Zoom Session) Your Starter Support session is a one-to-one, pre-booked appointment. Appointments are often booked several days in advance, and I keep spaces limited to maintain quality support. Rescheduling: You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your booked time using the link in your confirmation email. If you need to change your session within 24 hours, please contact me directly — I understand that family life can be unpredictable, especially for SEND and PDA families, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate where possible. Cancellations and Refunds: Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 24 hours before your session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may not be refundable, as the time is reserved for you. If unexpected circumstances arise (e.g. your child is in crisis, illness, or emergency), please let me know — I’ll always approach this with understanding and flexibility. Missed appointments: If you miss your session without notice, it will be treated as a completed appointment. You’re welcome to rebook a new session at a later date. Need to make a change? Life happens — especially in neurodivergent households. If you need to reschedule or pause, please just get in touch via sendinmama@gmail.com as soon as possible. I’ll always aim to respond with kindness, clarity, and flexibility.
